One Team Hero: Both Kansas City Locations

One Team Hero of May 2023

Both locations in Kansas City have handled massive changes over the last 6 months, both in stride and without any negativity.

Led by Mark Hall, Eric Carter, and Jeff Daugherty, C6410 moved from three buildings to one, all while continuing to manage the thriving retail that comes through their door in the West Bottoms on a daily basis and not miss a beat.  Along with those moves came updating the building they’re in and consolidating inventory for the one building, both of which are difficult tasks in themselves. Not to mention the KC branch teams have also been supporting our team at C6411 in North Kansas City when needed.

While Mark Hall and his team were fine-tuning the new look in the West Bottoms, Mark Bostwick, Mary Loe, Greg Rosa, Justin Chrisp, Dino Woodrome, Gary Wright, Terry Chrisp, Mike Vujnovic, and Ciaran Sweetman in North Kansas City were rapidly learning the wholesale business that was absorbed from C6410, all while also learning NetSuite/ION. This also included the accelerated learning of Continental’s battery program, updating the warehouse to increase space for the immediate need for more product, learning new customers & processes to meet/exceed expectations, and adapting our day-to-day processes to now include “hot shot deliveries”, something very foreign to our regular routine in North KC.

I know without a doubt I’ve left off numerous other successes both locations were able to accomplish in a short amount of time.  That’s not to say there weren’t some “bumps and bruises” along the way, but we certainly would not be in the position we are now without 100% commitment from all of those involved.

Thank you to everyone for all of the hard work and positivity throughout the numerous adjustments that have been made, y’all are greatly appreciated.

—Mike McMaster, District Manager
