Chris Pourroy is now the senior director of sales operations at Continental Battery Systems. Pourroy, who has been with the company since 2020, was director of national accounts.

“After two years as national account sales team lead, I’m looking forward to heading up the sales operations team. I’m particularly excited about taking on new challenges in the form of streamlining customer interactions and rolling out new products,” Pourroy said. “We’re on a solid growth path at Continental Battery Systems, and I hope to continue that by fostering a change leadership philosophy within the organization and supporting the success of our diverse and talented team.”

Prior to Continental Battery Systems, Pourroy worked for IMI as director of national accounts. His career also has included time as a regional manager with American Eagle Wheels and a branch manager with Wheel Pros.

“Chris has been a driving force behind our national account team for the past two years, during a time when our organization experienced rapid growth. We’re excited to see him bring his expertise and leadership skills to the sales operations team as they support local and national sales roles and drive new product rollout and process development,” said John Rauco, senior vice president of sales and marketing. “Chris truly understands the cus- tomer base and our sales teams. Meanwhile, Trey Turner has joined Continental Battery Systems as senior director of national account sales.

A sales and operational leader with over 20 years of leadership experience, Turner comes to the company from TBC Corp., where he most recently served as director of fleet sales. His career also has included time as director of sales for Sears Auto Centers, territory sales manager with FleetPride and commercial sales manager at Ad- vance Auto Parts.

“In my new role as national account sales team leader, I’m excited about the opportunity to develop, grow and train a professional team that provides customers with a truly outstanding experience,” Turner said. “My goal is always to put the customer and their needs at the center of everything we do and to build on the foundations and successes that have made Continental Battery Systems an industry leader. I’m determined to evolve and change with the industry and to achieve our goals by inspiring our team members and putting the customer at the forefront of every decision.”

Rauco said of Turner: “Trey brings a wealth of industry knowledge and deep customer relationships to his new role heading up our national account team. He’s the perfect person to take over where Chris left off. His solid background in sales leadership will serve Trey well as he leads one of our most productive teams to the next level.
